Ring of Fire Eclipse: On February 6, 2027, an annular, or "ring of fire," solar eclipse will occur in South America and Africa. In South America, the path of annularity will cross over Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. 

In Africa, the path of annularity will cross over Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. The maximum duration of annularity for this eclipse will be 7 minutes and 51 seconds.
